Job Description

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure timely collection and delivery of cargoes.
• Ensure proper documentation, e.g. delivery notes, pick up orders, etc.
• Adhere to all safety requirements while on the job and ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health requirements.
• Vehicle maintenance and housekeeping.
• Report any vehicle or cargo/ container damage due to accident.
• Report any container number/ seal number discrepancy during the course of work.
• Proper handling of company assets and equipment.
• Submit driver\'s D/O on a daily basis.
• Check and update vehicle daily checklist.
• Check and confirm delivery notes are endorsed & collect back before leaving customers premises.
• Feedback to Traffic Controller / Superior on any issues that arise at customers\' premises, for the purpose of information sharing with colleagues (other drivers).

Requirement

• Possess valid Singapore Class 4 or 5 driving licence.
• Minimum 2 years\' experience in driving a Prime Mover in Singapore.
• Familiar with PSA/Jurong Port procedures and requirements.
• Familiar Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
• Familiar with container yard operations.
• Familiar with Low Bed trucking.
• Good time management.
• Self-motivated.
• Good team player.
• Hardworking, positive attitude and committed to work.
• Accident free and clean driving records.
