Job Scope

The candidate is a self-driven and experienced professional, well versed in working closely with the solutions team to engage with external and internal clients to understand their needs and build a strong sales pipeline in system integration, application development and enterprise platform, right-sized to the client\xe2\x80\x99s needs. The candidate must also work closely with the delivery team and external vendors on recommended solutions and deliverables. The candidate must be resourceful and driven to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Has proven experience hunting for new accounts and building deep engagement in current ones
  • Engage with various stakeholders closely in building and closing technology and solution advisory opportunities
  • Demonstrate success in solutions and consultative selling
  • Engage new accounts at the working and decision-making level to conduct business development activities such as shaping clients\xe2\x80\x99 decision-making, filtering opportunities, and upselling solutions and services
  • Demonstrate strong leadership with assigned accountability by taking ownership of the sales cycle, bid management and submission process.
  • Manage cross-functional teams consisting of solution architects, delivery, vendors and Surbana Jurong business units to craft business value propositions, technical solutions and pricing to submit winning proposals
  • Customise marketing materials for business development activities relevant to the customer
Work Experience
  • Has converted a minimum of SGD 4 million in commercial and government opportunities in a financial year
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business with 5 years of sales and business development working experience.
  • Passion for sales and business development, self-motivated and driven to achieve revenue targets.
  • Has proven experience in hunting for your new accounts and building deep engagement in current ones
  • Has a strong understanding of the system integration business
  • Has demonstrable success in solutions and consultative selling
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Keen drive to meet people and problem solve, putting customers 1st
  • Good grasp of IoT technology, cloud applications and infrastructure, enterprise platforms and software products
  • Familiar with Singapore government tender/procurement processes
  • Proposal writing skills for tenders and client presentations.
  • Comfortable in white-boarding concepts and conducting problem discoveries sessions with customers
Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience in engineering or IT design/consultancy/project management
  • Preferably has engagement experience in real estate, facilities management, security and surveillance or Infrastructure with the smart cities space.
