We are currently looking for a Principal Consultant, Trust to join our Business and Technology Group. Our group focuses on driving industry adoption of frontier technologies, such as AI/Data, 5G and Trust Technologies, and work with the National Research Foundation, Institutes of Higher Learning and Research Institutes on upstream research and translation at scale.

The successful candidate is part of the Software and Applications Engineering team and closely collaborate with the Emerging Technology Office identify and develop applications to address the needs of wide-ranging, impactful industry problems. The successful candidate will be part of the team to identify, dive deep and evaluate trends and technologies in Trust Technologies, and to develop implementable strategies around them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Trust Technologies such as privacy enhancing technologies for data sharing and solutions to evaluate the trustworthiness of AI systems, providing guidance and leadership on strategy around digital trust initiatives for industry.
• Own the state of Trust Technologies and assess strategies and implementations across the globe to advise on and impact national level endeavours.
• Drive the identification and fit of appropriate Trust Technologies and methodologies for integration within products developed in-house.
• Conduct research on emerging trends in Trust Technologies and develop thought leadership content to be shared within and beyond the organization.
• Translate complex scientific research and knowledge to content for sharing across a range of audiences.
• Assess implementations of Trust Technologies and provide recommendations on iterative improvement.
• Support the development of Trust Technologies proposals, through implementation to success evaluation.
• Contribute to demonstrations, presentations and sharing sessions.
• Write thought leadership articles, including blogs and papers, on Trust Technologies and related best practices.
• Support transfer technology to industry partners.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Holds at least Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in working with and managing technology teams in research and/or engineering
• Strategic thinker with collaborative attitude and a strong team player
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong presentation and engagement skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills to work with both local and overseas partners and stakeholders

Position will be commensurate with experience.
