Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute electrical design activities using E3D/PDMS and MicroStation. Prepare and review single line diagrams, block diagrams, interconnection drawings, electrical installation drawings, and generate material take-offs (MTO). Produce, modify, and review electrical documents and drawings as per project deliverables. Review and check 3D models and 2D electrical design drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist Lead Engineer in defining discipline deliverables, procedures, and interface coordination. Identify and allocate resources required for project execution. Lead and mentor a team of electrical designers, ensuring tasks are completed with quality and within schedule. Manage external interfaces and provide timely information to stakeholders. Ensure all work complies with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) standards. Maintain a safe, positive, and ethical working environment. Continuously upgrade professional knowledge and encourage project cost and schedule improvements. Adhere to company codes of conduct and internal control procedures.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 15 years of electrical design and engineering experience in offshore/onshore oil & gas projects, including FPSO, process platforms, and HVDC converter platforms. Proficient in preparing single line diagrams, electrical layouts, cable block diagrams, interconnection diagrams using MicroStation. Skilled in generating MTOs for cable trays, lighting, small power, cables, and cable glands. Experience in lighting, small power, MCT, and heat tracing design, including isometric generation. Exposure to yard fabrication activities is a plus.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Technical Skills:

High proficiency in PDMS/E3D for modeling cable ladders, field trays, lighting, and small power equipment. Strong expertise in 2D drafting tools such as MicroStation and AutoCAD. Familiarity with Cabsys, STID, and Nodal diagrams is advantageous. Experience in site support by resolving technical queries. Proven ability to mentor and guide junior designers. Strong quality assurance and control skills. * Knowledge of oil & gas industry standards (API, IEC, etc.).
