The candidate is required to:

Lead and provide training to junior development scientists within the team

Project workplan planning, design, coordination and execution. Example of scope includes:

Assay design and optimization

Conceptualization

Developing pilot production manufacturing SOP and QC

Developing protocols, execute and reporting for verification test

Communicate with clinical / scientific collaborators and commercial partners for project development and coordination, sample procurement and workflow development

Technology evaluation and pipeline projects evaluation and scoping

Equipment management includes qualification, preventive maintenance and repair of equipment as per lab SOP, including ensuring compliance to safety codes and licenses

Monitoring and maintenance of chemical list by effective communication with different stakeholders and external parties.

Job Requirements

PhD, MBBS or Master\'s degree in the Biomedical Science, biomedical engineering.

At least 5 years of working experience preferably in the medtech, healthcare, or biomedical industry

Knowledge and competence in intellectual property and patent portfolio management, and experience with innovation or product development or commercialisation processes would be advantageous
