Principal Electronics Software Engineer (Energy | R&D)

Our client is a renowned market leader in Energy industry looking for a team player and an independent contributor, who is keen to grow with them as a pioneer in electronics software application for Measurement Products and Solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and guide product life cycle, while keeping abreast in new software methodologies, communication protocols and related software architectural paradigms
• Propose design and suggestions of software and communication protocols for new product and enhancement to existing products
• Provide technical inputs to direct and assist on product development and management, and support in relevant technical issues
• Communicate and work alongside cross function teams/engineers i.e. product management, as necessary to maintain market competitiveness
• Provide guidance, training and mentorship to engineers/software designers

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Measurement technologies/products
• Proficient in Javascipt, Python, C/C++, Linux or embedded/assembly language programming
• Proficient in software utilisation for new product creation and for enhancement of existing products
• Knowledgeable with communication protocols i.e. TCP/IP, MODBUS etc
