JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design specifications and Philosophies, FEED contract documents
• Instrument index, IO list, hookups, instrument data sheets, control narratives, ESD F&G C&E, MCC switchboard control interface etc. Specification/Datasheet and sizing of flow, pressure, temperature, level transmitters, control and on-off valves, analysers
• Junction Box schedule, cable schedule, plot plans, PDMS model review, instrument layouts, air manifold schedule, instrument bulk MTO, installation drawing, Control Room Layout etc.
• PCS, PSD, ESD, F&G system related activities like preparation of logic diagrams, review of C&E, IO assignment, system architecture, nodes, FAT etc. Communication interfaces like MODBUS RTU, MODBUS TCP/IP with packages. Specification of DCS / SIS / F&G systems and other PLC related systems.
• Technical Bid Evaluation and selection of instruments, valves and automation control systems. Specification of Fire and Gas devices like addressable detectors (smoke and heat), gas detectors.
• Interface Package Engineering for Auxiliary systems like Switchboard MCC Interfaces, HVAC, F&G detectors, Telecom PAGA, Diesel Generators, Air compressors etc.
• Familiarity with HART, foundation fieldbus, MODBUS, Profibus and communication architecture and International Instrument Codes and Standards like IMO, DNVGL, ISA, ANSI/ASME, NORSOK, IEC, ATEX etc
• Discussions and Interaction with client, technical correspondences with suppliers, vendors, interdisciplinary correspondences etc.
• Interface Engineering with Vendor Packages and other disciplines such as Mechanical, Structural, Piping, Electrical and Safety for P&ID review, control review and other various workshops e.g. design reviews, HAZOP, SIL verification, FAT etc.
• Ensure all instrument deliverables comply with specification, quality standard, DNV statutory and regulatory requirement

• A recognised Engineering Degree
• Experience in marine and offshore sector (Electrical, Telecom)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, proactive and positive attitude
• Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
