Job Description

Perform and review structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete (RC), steel, and composite structures, ensuring compliance with Singapore standards (e.g., Eurocode, SS, CP, BC).
Lead the preparation of detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for building structures.
Resolve design and construction-related issues, providing technical support during the construction phase.
Attend site meetings (technical, progress, and coordination) and liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities.
Supervise and mentor a team of junior engineers and drafters, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Conduct structural assessments, feasibility studies, and value engineering to optimize designs.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, recognized by the Singapore PE Board.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in building structure design (residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional projects).
Strong proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE) and BIM tools (Revit, Tekla).
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Singapore or eligible for PE certification.
In-depth knowledge of Singapore building codes, BCA regulations, and authority submission processes.
Proven project and team management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.
Experience in construction supervision and site coordination is highly desirable.
