Job Description

This is an Executive Director Position directly with a Tier 1 Bank in Singapore. We are in search of Director level candidates with prior experience heading up engineering functions and architecture design. This will be an individual contributor role. Hands-on programming will be required.

In this role you will be shaping and facilitating the achievement of the banks\'s strategic objectives by leveraging technology effectively. Assume ownership of the technology strategy within the relevant business domain and to be a reliable consultant to both business and technology units.

You will be playing a pivotal role in the design and implementation of a global data engineering platform as well as the design and implementation of intricate infrastructure, devops, release, and software engineering automation for the bank.

Requirements

Prior experience as CTO / Director of Engineering / Principal or Staff Engineer.

Skilled in programming languages like Python, Go, or Java.

Hands-on familiarity with DevOps tools, such as Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Artifactory.

Competence in utilizing DevSecOps pipeline security tools, such as OPA and Sentinel.

Experience working with major Public Cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Background in Distributed Systems and/or Data Engineering.

Expertise with Container platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, AKS, or GKE.

Proficient in implementing Security automation through Cloud services like AWS Lambda or Step Function, and Azure Functions.

Solid grasp of software development methodologies like Agile and proficiency in running Scrum.
