Job Description

As Principle Engineer in BE OSAT Development, must be able to work as assembly technical subject matter expert, possess leadership quality in leading and collaborating with world-wide cross functional teams, to ensure timely and flawless execution of qualification projects in OSAT organization.

In your new role you will:

• As technical subject matter expert in providing assembly technical guidance and risk assessment of processes, build of material, bonding diagram review in the package qualification process , and familiar with packaging technolog y, to develop and secure 1st pass success robustness.
• Introduce technical guidelines, review design rules, and verify output responses to get ready capability and detections in place for flawless qualifications . Qualify and implement change control, and resolve any potential technical challenges in the qualification plan.
• Leading cross-functional team to undertake coordination of company technical projects with subcontractors and is the point of contact on design review, project timeline, characterization requirements, qualification progress and documentation readiness.
• Ensure smooth transition of qualified devices or packages from qualification stage to high volume manufacturing (HVM) , with upfront risk assessment and effective mitigation plan through assembly characterizations, risk build and safe launch monitoring plan.
• Develop, provide and deliver technical presentations and design generations required for project kick-off, execution till implementation for production, fulfil any documentations requirements for gate review approval process.
• Prepares and participates in subcontractor audits and factory visits when required.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Master or Bachelor Degree in Engineering with at least 15 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor backend industry, and exposure to subcontractor environment.
• Strong technical background with hands on experience from packaging development and assembly process engineering. Wire bonding and/or WLCSP bumping competency is added advantages.
• Project management certification( PMP or IPMA ) is a plus.
• In depth knowledge on FMEA risk assessment , process DOE characterization, packaging reliability requirements , bill of material selection and qualification process, Failure Analysis, 8D and other quality and statistical tools.
• Strong communication skills, able to present effectively in small or large groups. Ability to drive complex problems solving through team collaborations, and manage technical challenges in an open, cooperative, and proactive way.
• Self-driven with proven record of managing technical deliverables for high complexity projects, with world-wide cross functional and cross locational team setup, in multinational company background or subcontractor\xe2\x80\x99s environment.
• Able and willing to travel to subcons locations as needed
