What the role is:You provide engineering guidance and technical leadership for the product teams.What you will be working on:- Guide engineering decision-making processes - Drive architecture of complex software systems - Conduct thorough code reviews - Ensure adherence to best practices in software development - Mentor and develop a team of engineers Challenge(s) - Understanding the existing and upcoming software development/ production environment - Understanding and adapting to MINDEF/SAF's specific frameworks and standardsWhat we are looking for:- Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field - At least 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in software development - High level of technical expertise - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About MINDEF:The mission of MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces is to enhance Singapore's peace and security through deterrence and diplomacy, and should these fail, to secure a swift and decisive victory over the aggressor.
