Responsibilities:

o To manage and lead a group of Senior Engineers, Engineers and Associate Engineers

o To sustain, improve and optimize equipment capability and utilization to meet operations goals.

o Responsible for department BBS.(Uptime, Cost, EDM, training, Wafer Scrap.)

o Conduct regular feedback and communication sessions with staff for identification of work improvement and maintain morale.

o Perform appraisals and map career path for subordinates.

o Participate in Change Management Meeting, daily pass down meeting and Production meeting

o Perform Fab audit in own area.

o Manpower allocation and development.

o Forecast financial budgets for equipment-related expenditure.

o Establish plans and strategies to meet and surpass manufacturing performance indices.

o Set targets, goals and projects for the section to minimize wafer scrap, equipment cost per wafer and optimize equipment capability and utilization to meet operations needs.

o Plan, track, teach and measure equipment capacity.

o Establish preventive maintenance (pm) plans for all equipment and optimize pm for quality and cost.

o Coordinate with process, integration and manufacturing engineers.(DN, Yield, Production.)

o Report and manage tool capability and reliability and work closely with process engineering to optimize productivity of the tool.

o Manage/drive vendors performance to meet/exceed equipment KPI and goals.

o Spearhead and facilitate continuous improvement programs to optimize equipment utilization and cost of maintenance.

o Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab

o Organize and provide training and guidance to engineers and associate engineers to achieve maximum performance effectiveness.

Requirements:

Min Degree in Engineering

8 yrs of CVD Equipment & Experience (AMAT Centura HDP & DXZ, AMAT Producer, Novellus Sequel)

Possesses strong managerial or technical experience in CVD Equipment
