Description

Individual with holistic understanding of both the operational and scope aspects of projects, from creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones. Ability to conceptualize the big picture and is able to work with various departments to manage and develop systems within Mediacorp. Works to balance various aspects of a project such as architecture and system dynamics

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and implement new software programs
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
• Design and update software database. This includes, but is not limited to: Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes and User Interfaces
• Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Independently install, customize and integrate commercial software packages
• Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues
• Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
• Resolve complex technical design issues
• Development of technical specifications and plans
• Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents
• Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges
• Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues
• Compile timely, comprehensive and accurate documentation and or reports as requested
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry
• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers
• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with vendors
• Possess strong problem solving and decision making skills while using good judgment
• Possess strong business analyst skills. Able to drive users in business processes and workflows studies.
• Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent. No experience required.
• ITIL Certification is an advantage.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills and ability to work within and cross-business unit teams.

Toolsets:

• MS SQL 2012 and above

o Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL

• SSRS (Reporting Services)

o Ability to read and write complex queries, ability to create database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, user-defined functions) and modify existing reporting content

• Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

o With migration experience is a plus \xe2\x80\xa2 MS VisualStudio 2012 and above o C#, ASP.NET, Java, Python o With experience in WebService API like SOAP, REST, JSON

• Team Foundation Server 2017 or AzureDevOps

o Advanced knowledge of TFS change management concepts of (version history, check-ins, merge/branch, build process, release and deployment, work item and dashboards)

• K2 Process Automation Platform

o Creation of workflow for structured and unstructured processes, integrating existing systems and tools to connect people with data

• Microsoft 365 Services

o Experience in managing 365 services such as MS Teams, MS Forms, etc.
