Th Job Summary The engineer will be part of the Value-Added Service Planning team in M1 Engineering. It will be an opportunity to learn and keep up with the technological advancement in Telco Cloud. The engineer will be managing the network function infrastructure deployment and will partner with the M1 Marketing team in the design and solutioning of the M1 Prepaid service. Job Responsibilities Manage and administer Linux servers - installation, management and monitoring through automation Administer and manage the Network Functions Virtual Infrastructure (NFVI) - resource monitoring and management, manage application on-boarding, system administration, enforce security and compliance policies and troubleshooting Plan and manage the Prepaid Systems upgrades and provide solution-based on Marketing's service requirements Perform software management and software quality assurance on the systems Create and maintain documentation for system configuration and maintenance Lead, manage, motivate and develop team members Job Requirements Degree in Engineering or Computer Science Fluent in Spoken and Written English At least 2-3 years experience in Linux system administration and management of Virtualized Platforms Good working knowledge in Virtualization, Networking and Linux environments Strong knowledge of Cloud: RHV/Openstack/FusionSphere Unix scripting skills to write/ maintain Unix scripts/MYSQL to automate and improve efficiency Good understanding of the following : Databases (Oracle, MySQL), Apache, nginx, haproxy Driven and takes responsibility for projects and suggests improvements to existing architecture or processes. Independent worker with a keen interest to explore, learn and grow in the technical skills Experience in Automation and Configuration management tools such as Ansible would be an advantage
