[What the role is]
As a member of the Airport Planning and Design team, you will oversee the detailed planning and design of Terminal 5 (T5) and related infrastructure in Changi East. You will work closely with the airport operator, government agencies, key stakeholders and/or consultants to review airport land use planning and design proposals, ensure proper project planning, management and timely completion of T5 capacity and design development/review studies.

[What you will be working on]
You will be expected to contribute towards the review of the planning of infrastructure/building services, related to mechanical and electrical spaces such as plantrooms and routing within the passenger terminal building and rest of Changi East airport development. These pertain to utilities and services including cooling, electrical, water, sewerage, gas, jet fuel and others.
You will also be responsible for the procurement/management of consultancy services to support CAAS in T5 planning/design review. In addition, you will assist to secure the necessary T5 design funding approvals and administer the funding thereafter. The process would involve evaluating reasonableness of the budget estimates and schedules, cash flow projection, project studies monitoring, managing fund disbursement etc.

[What we are looking for]

• Trained in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimally 10-15 years of relevant working experience in planning of infrastructure/building services
• Self-motivated, driven, resourceful, a good team player and ability to multi-task
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills
• Prior airport/airfield related experience will be an advantage
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or GIS will be an advantage
