The successful candidate will take ownership of the full delivery lifecycle for major Murex initiatives, including:
I. Regulatory and Migration Leadership
FRTB-IMA Rollout:
Lead the end-to-end technical and functional rollout of MAS regulatory pre-requisites for the
Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB-IMA)
project across multiple legal entities.
PnL Migration:
Manage the decommissioning of legacy internal PnL tools and lead the technical migration of desk PnL attribution components into the Murex platform.
Platform Upgrades:
Oversee and execute complex
Murex Binary Upgrade
projects (e.g., 3.1.33 to 3.1.48) and coordinate production rollouts across diverse international sites (e.g., China, HK, Taiwan, Thailand).
II. Change Management and Production Governance
Change Release Management:
Own and govern the quality of bi-weekly production rollouts, ensuring comprehensive regression testing and adherence to change protocols.
Agile Management:
Oversee Agile delivery teams, running daily scrums and actively planning, prioritizing, and coordinating work to meet project timelines and objectives.
System Maintenance:
Drive proactive maintenance, capacity planning, and performance tuning initiatives. Provide
L2/L3 production support
for critical issues, including necessary night support and automation using tools like
Onyx
.
III. Functional and Technical Solution Design
Requirements Analysis:
Analyze and gather detailed functional and technical requirements from end-users and the Product Control Group (PCG) for modules including PnL Attribution, FX, and IRD.
Solution Development:
Perform solution design, development, and system testing for new services and downstream interface reporting requirements on the Murex platform.
Datamart & EOD:
Lead the development and configuration of
Datamart reporting
solutions, including database design, modelling, and configuring EOD (End-of-Day) batches and scheduling via
Ctrl-M
setup.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:
15+ years of total experience in IT, with a significant focus on Capital Markets / Treasury systems.
Murex Expertise:
Mandatory deep functional and technical understanding of
Murex MX 2.11 and MX 3.1
.
Financial Instruments:
Strong functional knowledge of
Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD)
and
Foreign Exchange (FX)
.
Technical Proficiency:
Expert-level command of
SQL
and
PL/SQL
for writing optimized stored procedures, functions, packages, and dynamic SQL (Oracle/Sybase).
Process Tools:
Demonstrated proficiency with standard PM/BA/QA tools, including
JIRA, HP-QC, Confluence, and MxTest
(for Murex regression).
Leadership:
Proven ability to act as a senior stakeholder partner, influence decision-making, and successfully
mentor and coach
junior team members.
Communication:
Excellent communication, ownership, and drive, with a systematic problem-solving approach.
