Position Summary
Responsible for independently applying advanced scheduling and planning techniques and analysis within a project environment.
Primary Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of planning/scheduling
• Monitor job progress according to schedules
• Coordinate with material expediters concerning critical items of supply
• Participation in expenditure forecasts
• Perform schedule analysis
• Translates projects into a sequential work schedule: Conduct Interactive Planning Session; Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion deadlines
• Prepare Engineering Deliverables with milestone dates; Prepare and update schedule and S curves
• Confers with supervisors to determine status of assigned projects
• Prepare Procurement and Construction milestone monitoring schedule
• Prepare Manpower Histogram and update actual and forecast manpower
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
• Highlight Critical Path and highlight areas of concerns to Project Management
• Prepares Progress and Productivity status reports

Qualifications

• Minimum 25 years Planning & Scheduling experience
• Having past experience of working in different project phases – Pre FEED, FEED and EPCM / EPC
• Project Background – Onshore/Offshore/Upstream/Downstream/Hydrocarbon/Bio Diesel/Refinery/Petrochemical/Chemical/
• Hands-on Planning knowledge is a must with equal emphasis on Home Office and Site Planning.
• Hands-on operating knowledge with Primavera is a must with equal importance on Schedule Development / Maintenance and Forecating
• Working knowledge of Ecosys is preferred
• Working Knowledge of Deltek Acumen Fuse is preferred
• Thorough and extensive knowledge Project Control tools/standards/procedures and principles including Earned Value Management is a must
• Can adapt to multitask between Planning and Pro Services Cost control
• Good written and verbal communication skills and Team skills.
• Experience of facilitating Schedule Risk Analysis and Risk Management workshops
• Lead or Facilitate Schedule Development Workshops
• Exposure to Agile / SCRUM ways of working is desirable
