Job Description
An international investment management company is seeking a Principal SRE (Cloud DevOps). In this job, you will join their global database team in Singapore.
About the Principal SRE (Cloud DevOps) Role:
As part of this team, you will be at the forefront of a multi-year cloud transformation programme, managing both on-premises and cloud database infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer and integrate cloud database solutions and services
- Design and run POCs of new cloud database services
- Collaborate closely with the development team to provide expertise on relevant cloud initiatives
- Engineer automation solutions and constantly evolve existing platforms
- Ideate innovative ideas to solve technical problems ensuring scalability and security
Key Requirements:
- Experience with Azure SQL database engine
- Strong experiences in designing and implementation cloud solutions in Azure/AWS
- Experience in the financial services domain
- Strong experience with automation and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with machine learning/artificial intelligence, Power BI, or Azure Power Platform is advantageous
