DHL Express Global Head Office has an opening for Principal System Specialist, CIAM (Customer identity and access management) in the Customer Facing IT Domain. The key purpose of this role is to:

  • Design, lead and build applications leveraging CIAM expertise.
  • Hands on experience in prior CIAM implementations (ForgeRock experience would be an added advantage)
  • Customer-facing technical consulting on the various technical workflows such as login, registration, Multi factor authentication, Single Sign On and much more.
  • Ownership on release/version upgrades including migrating, on boarding data into CIAM platform.
  • Manage and maintain on ongoing basis the CIAM portal for DHL Express.
  • Defines and document the Standard operating procedures, Technical Specifications, and service-oriented architecture for CIAM.
  • The role is primarily for the development and enhancement of the EXPRESS CIAM PLATFORM to meet the business needs and to transition to the Operational support group. The best-fit candidate may be based in Singapore, Malaysia (KUL or CBJ), or Chennai (India).
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
  • Establish and maintain documentation regarding standards and policies surrounding the administration & development of the CIAM portal and platform with best practices and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance during workshops and assist in the creation and refinement of functional and non-functional stories as well as use cases with regard to CIAM.
  • Configure the CIAM solution to best fit as per business needs and CIAM functionalities according to the best processes & practices.
  • Support in analyzing workflows, presenting solution possibilities, and analyzing the license requirements on a regular basis.
  • Work with business functions to understand CIAM integration needs, and priorities, and guide with a plan to plan the associated IT roadmaps.
  • Provide consultancy and support to businesses on the Customer engagement/ Omni Channel needs to improve overall customer experience through digitalization with the help of onboarding onto the CIAM platform.
  • To drive techno-functional discussions of CIAM in Omni Channel space enterprise-wide.
  • Manage external/internal IT resources engaged during the execution of a project.
  • Work directly with DHL customers, suppliers, or internal staff (at global/regional/functional levels).
  • Participate in global project teams as appropriate based on the role and involvement of the CIAM platform.
  • Sound understanding of various system integration requirements to be integrated with CIAM which are raised by internal stakeholders, customers, and/or 3rd party solution providers.
  • Manage successful CIAM implementation of solutions at an acceptable time, cost, and quality.
  • Provide regular reports of progress towards meeting project deliverables.
Do you have what it takes?
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field or similar experience/education or at least 12 years of corporate work experience.
  • Desirable if you have Implementation certification in CIAM space, especially with ForgeRock.
  • At least 8 years of multi-disciplined IT experience and IT solutions development and implementation experience and a proven record of accomplishment in managing and delivering complex IT solutions.
  • Prior experience in implementing Edge Encryption and other Security and Privacy regulations (like GDPR).
  • Experience in customer identity and access management space.
  • Experience in building the best application architecture, interface, and upgrades will be an added plus.
  • Must have the Ability to Design and Develop Platform features, especially in web technologies based on CIAM space.
  • Great to have experience in migration strategy creation and execution.
  • Ensures instance health by working with the engagement team to reduce technical debt and align to CIAM leading practices on a regular timely basis.
  • Extensive knowledge of two or more Front End and Web Technologies: HTML5, and Java, which are required to build & maintain the web portal.
  • Maintenance skill sets & certifications in Customer identity and access space on standards like FIDO, SAML, and OpenID connect.
  • Experience in SOA standards and practices.
  • Process knowledge: Solid understanding of Customer identity and access management space.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical senior management.
  • Flexibility in operating style and attitude.
  • Positive and contributory attitude, total dedication to customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs. Highly customer-oriented.
  • Self-motivated and able to team with, and manage a strong partner/supplier system.
  • Resilient, and capable of recovering quickly from setbacks. Maintains performance under pressure.
