Job Description

Responsibilities:
MaxLinear is seeking a Principal Systems Validation Engineer to join our high-performing design center team. In this role, you will focus on:-

• Pre-silicon verification and post-silicon system validation
• Test case and test automation scripts development and test plan execution
• Help to debug system (hardware, software and firmware), provide expert support to internal as well as external customer
• Silicon characterization and failure analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 15 years’ experience of hardware development and system verification in consumer/electrical products
• Familiar with system board design/debugging and usage of lab equipment like Oscilloscope and Logic analyzer
• Experience of silicon verification, system validation program development and test plan execution
• Familiar with PCI/PCI-E/ETHERNET/SPI bus protocol
• Experience of C/C++ Programming language and Python script
• Knowledge of system debug tools JTAG, EJTAG and traffic generator script such as Spirent Test Center is preferred
• Good understanding of ETHERNET switch, GPHY, DSP, line driver, ADC/DAC and EMC is plus
• Team player, very proactive and self-motivated
