We are looking for a self-driven and committed researcher to further expand and strengthen the vector-borne disease research programme at the Environmental Health Institute. [What you will be working on]

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of scientists that focuses on insect vector surveillance and management in Singapore. You will design and lead research studies related to surveillance and novel vector control technology. You will be involved in field activities, including field studies, mosquito releases, and in public engagement and outreach activities. You will also be expected to review scientific literature, contribute to peer-reviewed publications.

[What we are looking for]

The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:

• Masters or Doctorate Degree in Life Sciences or related disciplines
• Knowledge and experience in insects will be desirable
• Experience in vector-related studies and a record in high-quality publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, will be an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Aptitude in working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
