In the Singapore Innovation Center (SGIC), we innovate for consumer-winning formulations. Our Process Research Lab Operations (PRLO) continues to enable consumer validations of new products. We support a broad array of billion-dollar brands like SK-II, Olay, Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Rejoice, Herbal Essences, FEBREZ, AMBIPUR, etc. As a Process Development Engineer, you should be able to leverage on your chemical engineering expertise to lead a sustainable operations and systemic enhancements. The key goal involves innovating and developing delightful product formulations at the right quality and best value. If this sounds exciting to you, read on! Your team Located at SGIC, you will be a key member of the Innovation Center Management Team. You will partner closely with the process development communities of Beauty, Hair, and Home Care organization Units (OUs). And beyond SGIC, you also interact and work with the global R&D organizations and other innovation centers for similar and adjacent technological disciplines. How success looks like

• Deliver various process system validations, self-improving operative robustness, and innovating for more efficient and safer methodologies.
• Strong leadership in the business process works and influencing skills for senior managers is a requisite.
• Gain significant proficiency of understanding the consumer needs, insight into designing consumer-winning formula, and transforming the manufacturing processes for commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the PRLO making systems of validation, reverification, QA compliance, micro cleaning and sanitizing procedures, and overall operations
• Partner with the OU technologists, manufacturing product supply functions, and business teams to develop and deliver innovations for global markets
• Identify, assess, and communicate risks while developing robust solutions and contingency plan
• Capture key insights and technical discoveries from researching, update results among stakeholders to recommend strategic interventions

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master\'s degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering/Science, Mechanical Engineering and/or related fields
• 3+ years relevant process development/engineering experience in a related industry
• Critical experience, sufficient engineering skills, and working knowledge of consumer product formulations and manufacturing technologies (e.g., microfluidics, fluid mechanics)
• Strong leadership and communication skills to understand the business objective, local context, and business landscape to deliver the extraordinary outcomes
• Work independently, multi-tasking, prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking capabilities, and good capacity of using information to connect multiple ideas to develop solutions.
