Position Summary

The Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, enhance quality, and reduce operational costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal stamping, quality systems (ISO9001, IATF16949), and process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Design, develop, and implement optimized manufacturing processes for metal stamping operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce process improvements and support new product introduction. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for process-related issues. Ensure compliance with relevant quality management systems (ISO9001, IATF16949). Participate in internal audits and support external audits related to process and quality systems. Create and maintain documentation related to processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Train operators and production staff on updated processes and new procedures.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Minimum 3 years' experience in Stamping Certified Internal Auditor for IATF16949 and ISO9001, with a strong understanding of quality management systems. Proven experience in metal stamping processes, die design, tooling, and material selection. Solid knowledge of manufacturing process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Familiarity with documentation practices, audit procedures, and continuous improvement tools.
