Job Description
:
The Client is a global aerospace company.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute special processes activities associated with the repair and development of aero-engine component parts
- Maintain technical data pertaining to special processes to ensure compliance with OEM & Regulatory requirements
- Provide special process or repair method related trainings to the production staff
- Prepare and maintain special process Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Manage special process certification, perform root cause analysis, improve process robustness and efficiency yield
- Participate in Lean initiatives to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality
- Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Production or other relevant engineering qualification
- Knowledge of special processes such as NDT, Plasma Spray, Heat Treatment, High Pressure Water Jet Stripping, Chemical Cleaning, Shot Peening
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' work experience in the aviation industry
- Ability to interpret, implement and maintain customer and industry certifications and qualification
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to research repair information in Engine Manuals or Technical data
- Highly analytical with strong communication skills
