Job Description

Generating work instructions and operating procedures for preparation and application of powder coating works including planning of manpower resources Liaise closely with relevant department materials preparation and logistic arrangement to schedule and achieve on-time delivery for all coating works Perform QC of incoming and outgoing parts and ensure finished goods comply with quality and client's requirements Maintain a high level of efficiency, ensuring good housekeeping, resource optimization and effective paint management and storage to continuously improve cost management Perform maintenance & upkeep of spraying booths, coating furnaces and wastewater treatment system Diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify problems in the coating process with recommendations and training. Conduct Risk Assessments and ensure that pre-treatment, coating process and effluent discharge processes are operated in compliance with legislation & government authorities (E.g NEA, PUB, JTC..) Providing technical support and resolve with customer on quality and technical issues Communicate activities clearly and provide process/status report to Management Any other work-related ad-hoc duties assigned by the Production Manager
Requirements: -
Possess Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science Good interpersonal skills and work attitude. Minimum 2 years of inspection and production environment experience preferred. Have knowledge or experience in powder coating process or wastewater treatment will be an added advantage Preferably available within short notice Able to work in Tuas Transport provided at Jurong East and Boon Lay
