Requirements

• Diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge in manufacturing process and product costing
• Proficient in PC skill such as SAP is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Review customer technical drawing and generate cost calculation for sales/makerting department and propose cost reduction for competitive price
• Verify conformance to engineering data and customer drawing specifications through direct liaison with customer
• Co-ordinate with Sales Department and Production Department on the implementation of engineering data
• Perform engineering data and changes as per request
• Maximize production & process efficiency by detailed study of the engineering data specifcations while ensuring product quality
• Advice & recommend changes to engineering data and drawings to its specifications when deem necessary to meet production capability
• Receive information from marketing, evaluate the shipment date and budget in order to fulfill the customer prerequisite
• Prepare manufacturing process flow, work instruction, detail drawing according to customer requirement and in-house design
• Calculate all materials usage before log in Glovia system and Liaison with purchasing department to ensure the available of the materials
• Cooperate with designer to ensure all programs and tools are readiness for production loading
• Plan the quantity and schedule the cycle time for prototype sample build
• Work closely with the production team to assist them to respond and solve immediately for any design, planning or tooling error to avoid delay shipment
• Assist design to conduct the new part transfer with process engineers and supervisors to ensure the prototype sample are successful transfer to mass production
• Execute ECN and MCN activities, liaise with affected department to ensure the change is implement and not impact the production schedule
• Update all related documents according to ECN change
• Plan, design and avaluate sequence of operations for fabrication blies from the engineering drawing and specfication to final assembly
• Prepares defined work packages, including detailed instructions, drawings, bills of material, references, inspection requirements, etc
• Planning and scheduling quantity and detail cycle time for each order
• Collect prototype yield reports and production feedback to ensure all documents are updated based on customer requirement and within in-house capability
• Researched engineering drawing and component to determine the type of tooling requirement
• Seek of various vendor to purchase assembly tools, such as packing tray, pallet, solder paste stencil, folding jig, and to ensure with minimize price
• Prepare purchase order for all assembly tools
• Follow up closely with vendor to ensure the goods can be delivery on time
• Assist provide prototype shipment monthly shipment report
• 5 days work week

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $3,300.00 - $4,800.00 per monthSchedule:

• Local Polytechnic Diploma (Preferred)
