Role & ResponsibilityThe Product Engineer is reporting to the Process Engineering Manager and has to organize and manage the engineering aspects of the respective section.It is the responsibility of the Product Engineer to: Maximize efficiency of operation and machine utilisation. Make proposals for further improvement and implement it in the production upon proposal. Co-ordinate with R&D in new product development. Standardize and document new process development and provide training to the staff. Implement cost reduction and productivity improvement. Discuss with Customer on requirements and specifications for new design changes on current parts. Ensure all New suppliers sample are qualified and within specifications. All samples run on requests from Customers or internal sections are track and follow up closely with SSR and PCN. For New Machine setup, liaise with all related sections, machine maker for machine specification, utilities setup, installation and testing of machine. Quality buy off, Preventive Maintenance plan and commissioning of all new machines. Liaise with all related sections for Transfer Projects, ensure all related quality specification, Work Flow and Safety knowledge are known.Quality Management system Ensure that work is performed in accordance to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management System Maintain and improve product quality Monitor and improve process stability and SPC / process capability values Take corrective and prevent recurrence action if non-conformance found or process is out of control. Participate in the customer complaint-working group to assist and implement corrective and prevent recurrence action.EHS Management system Ensure work is carried out in accordance to ISO14001 (Environmental) and ISO45001 (Occupational health and safety) including EHS policy, procedures and guidelines Responsible and accountable for work carry out that related to environmental, safety and health mattersRequirement: Candidate must possess at least Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), or equivalent. Highly charged and motivated individual. Independent and able to make effective decisions. Possesses good communication skills. Able to perform under pressure and tight timelines.
