Reporting to Specialist, Technical & Planning, this position will be responsible for identifying and implementing process study activities to maintain and improve the competitiveness of chemical produ Reporting to Specialist, Technical & Planning, this position will be responsible for identifying and implementing process study activities to maintain and improve the competitiveness of chemical production in the areas of manufacturing cost, process safety and environment preservation. The incumbent will also provide technical support in troubleshooting and analyzing process operational issues for the chemical plant. Responsibilities: Monitor plant performance and make appropriate recommendations to improve plant cost competitiveness Coordinate with internal stakeholders and plan production load Participate in cost-improvement projects and audits Review management system compliance by ensuring proper documentation and producing revision of documents in accordance to the requirements of the management system Coordinate with external parties on issues related to technical matters Support process troubleshooting and daily operations Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience Entry level candidates without experience are welcome to apply with us Proficient in Microsoft Office Self-driven, independent and resourceful Effective team player with good communication and presentation skills Possess good analytical thinking and problem solving skills Willing to work in Jurong Island Able to perform overtime work if required
