WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role, your responsibilities include the below:
  • Provide daily Process Engineering Support for API manufacturing plant to meet Safety, Quality and Compliance objectives.
  • Lead feasibility studies/reviews, hazards and operability studies/reviews on new, modified processes & engineering standards compliance initiatives
  • Lead quality deviation & safety Investigations for trouble shooting support and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead API site Projects through evaluation of project scope, feasibility, design, project proposals, sourcing plan, installation, commissioning & qualification (IQ, OQ) with adherence to site change control procedures to ensure facilities are safe, efficiently utilized, reliable and meet GMP/ regulatory / production requirements.
  • Implement Process improvement projects to meet with new technology, new engineering standards and new code and practices for process & energy efficiencies, process safety and quality compliance.
  • As part of the team or Individually responsible for the scoping, development, execution and documentation of small projects within the allotted timeline, budget, design requirements, and established quality standards
After one year, you will develop an awareness of Engineering and Compliance standards through assigned tasks and training. Expected to be performing required process support activities through site change control process, facilitate equipment failure investigations of quality deviations, support incident investigations, PHA study facilitations and PSM support activities. Key team player working with cross-functional teams to complete projects successfully within budget, schedule and quality requirements.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in chemical or Chemical Process Engineering with 3-5 years relevant technical experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
  • Possess trouble shooting skills, knowledge of GMP systems, equipment design, equipment qualification, Operational & Maintenance requirements, Investigation and PHA tools.
  • Process engineering experience to carry out feasibility studies, developing and implementing technical solutions.
  • Project management skills, planning, costing and scheduling implementations, working with multi-functional teams.
