Our Engineers support internal and external manufacturing operations to ensure the systems remain operational, continuously improve and innovate. With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities across many diverse areas including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation. WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Provide technical, commissioning, qualification and validation expertise for the manufacturing of all drug substances on site with regard to the migration of the Distributed Control System (DCS), this involves installing new DCS system and obsoleting existing one to address identified compliance gaps
  • Support effort to develop/review/approve all project execution / systems life cycle document deliverables including, but not limited to Plans (QAP, Test, Migration, Execution), Specifications (Design, Configuration, Functional, Requirements), Assessments (Risk, Gap), Reviews (design, code), Test Protocols (FAT, SAT, UAT, IQ, OQ, PQ), Traceability Matrices and Reports (validation summary, progress)
  • Lead the process team within the project/site for all works associated with process improvement and remediating DCS compliance gap, ensure process specific requirements are met in new DCS system
  • Lead and/or support implementation of change controls from DCS migration: impact assessment, perform reviews, manage project schedule, test plan, resource plan, vendor coordination
  • Lead and support commissioning and qualification activities including: develop, review and implement equipment and process OQ protocol
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical or Computer Engineering
  • 2 to 3 years of technical experience in manufacturing, oil and gas industry, etc.
  • Familiar with equipment and automation change controls, commissioning and qualification, validation and systems life cycle management
  • Preferably with knowledge of applicable Safety and GMP regulations for DCS and recipe management
  • Able to lead technical discussion with vendors and consultants with automation background
  • Comfortable to articulate and escalate concerns timely in project
  • Facilitate smooth communication between project and site, among the stakeholders
