As one of Singapore\'s Best Employers 2023, we would like to welcome a Process Mechanical Engineer to join our Life Science business in Singapore. Main duties:

• Ensure the timely completion of all project specifications, designs, drawings, and requisitions.
• Ensure all documentation within the scope of his responsibility is prepared, checked, reviewed and approved in accordance with the Discipline Working Instructions for the project.
• Carry out review of vendor\xe2\x80\x99s bids and documentation for technical acceptability.
• Carry out inspection of equipment, when requested by Project Manager, as per relevant approved documents (like Purchase Orders, Final Vendor Drawings etc.) to ensure that equipment manufactured is in line with all approved Technical Specification.
• Provide technical assistance to other design groups as necessary.

Here\xe2\x80\x99s What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 11 years of experience in Engineering Consulting Company.
• Experience in detailed engineering activities for various stated equipments such as Pumps, Cooling Tower, Compressors, Pharma Machinery, Boilers, Material Handling etc., Preparation of technical specifications and technical data sheets for various types of equipment, Preparation of technical bid evaluation, Checking of vendor drawings/design w.r.t. specification/design parameters, Able to achieve the target with quality norms.
• Knowledge of unit operations like, distillation, filtration, heat transfer etc. Design of heat exchangers, pumps specifications, hydraulics calculations.
• Knowledge of utility systems such as cooling water systems, Boilers, Compressed Air and Instrument Air system, Nitrogen system etc.
• Knowledge of tankages.
• Participation in 3D model reviews.
• Knowledge of national and international codes and standards.Vendor data reviews
• Understanding of Project requirements like productivity/ schedule workhour control etc.
• Good understanding of requirements of the downstream groups like piping/instrumentation/mechanical etc.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written so as to communicate with clients and lead offices.
