Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Process & Product Improvement Engineer to lead and support process and product enhancement projects within our capacitor manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, optimize manufacturing processes, and collaborate across international teams to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

Lead process and product improvement projects for capacitor manufacturing operations. Generate innovative ideas for process and product development and enhancement of capacitors. Collaborate with suppliers on material improvement initiatives, utilizing metrology knowledge for execution. Perform statistical analysis of activities and data using tools such as Minitab, Tableau, etc. Coordinate with relevant sections to ensure timely completion of improvement projects. Utilize design and analysis software (e.g., Pro/E, Ansys) for development tasks (advantageous). Develop control plans, manufacturing standards, and PFMEA documentation for new and modified processes/products.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Snr Engineer position:

2 to 5 years of experience in process/product development and improvement within component manufacturing industries.

Engineer position:

Fresh graduates with the above qualifications from Singapore universities will be considered. Basic knowledge of materials and mechatronics to understand machine and material functionalities. Experience with engineering software such as Pro/E, Ansys (advantageous). Hands-on experience with analysis equipment (mechanical property testers, material analysis tools).

Skills and Competencies

Proficiency in MS Office, Minitab, and other engineering analysis tools. Strong analytical skills and ability to perform statistical analysis. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in multicultural environments (Japan, Singapore, Indonesia). Ability to adapt to challenging conditions and demonstrate continuous learning. Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving attitude and resilience. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Added advantage if the candidate knows Bahasa Indonesia and/or the Japanese language for communication with stakeholders in Indonesia and Japan.
