Process Safety Engineer - Tuas [LKH]

Our client is Pharmaceutical manufacturer and they are sourcing for Process Safety engineer for new API plant in Tuas under 1 year agency contract.
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm.
Working location: Tuas South Ave 6, company bus pick up at Jurong East MRT

Job Scope:

• Facilitating / Scribing Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) / HAZOP studies of the processes and products for Tuas New Expansion Plant
• Supporting the Process Safety Management (PSM) programs in plant
• Supporting the New Expansion Plant in Pre-Start-up Safety Review (PSSR) activities, management of change reviews, other activities and tasks relating to the starting up of the new plant.
• Act as technical scribe for PHA / HAZOP studies of the Wave 1 and Wave 2 products for the new expansion plant
• Partake in process safety activities relating to the starting up of the new expansion plant.
• Consolidate and develop process safety awareness training package in partnership with Process Safety & Risk Management Manager to conduct the training for colleagues onsite.
• Plan and prepare for compliance audits according to the requirements of Global EHS Standards & Recommended Practice.
• Work in partnership with the Process Safety and Risk Management Manager to review the work processes of Process Safety hazard identification & risk controls, incident investigation, management of change, pre-start-up safety review and identify areas for improvement to enhance robustness of these processes
• Maintain and upkeep documentation and records of PSM in the state of readiness for compliance inspection and/or audits.

Requirement:

• Relevant experience within the pharmaceutical API or related industries; incumbent as technical role with good knowledge of process safety, and the various PHA methodologies (e.g. HAZOP, What-if, HAZID, etc).
• Good knowledge and application of stipulated codes of practice (e.g. SS506 part 3, API510, Singapore Fire Safety Act) is advantageous
