As a Etch process engineer, your job purpose is to:

• 
  Ensure successful development of Etch process in new technology/transfer, meeting technical specifications and timeline.
• 
  Identify and lower the risks involve in Etch.
• 
  Ensure new process is robust and sustainable.
• 
  Set up SPC for developed processes
• 
  Perform and characterize process and equipment system to maintain and control process parameters
• 
  Troubleshoot process deviation and equipment malfunctions to improve process quality and productivity
• 
  Technical skills including problem-solving, statistical data analysis and design of experiment.
• 
  Run DOEs to define BKM (best-known-method) processes for qualification
• 
  Analyse engineering data and prepare engineering lot report for DOEs

You will be involved in:

• Process Development, Transfer & optimization of Etch process (Si / Poly / Oxide / Nit / Metal etc.) in varies tool types. Knowledge of multiple tool types is an advantage
• Planning and execution of experiments for new technology process development / transfer and materials.
• Identify and troubleshoot process issue through various metrology tools and characterization techniques.
• Introduction of new equipment / process.
• Integrate design concepts to deliverables.
• Compile and analyse data, writing reports, and present results to team members and management.
• Seek and work with vendors for new tools/process

Profile

You are suitable for this role if you are/ have:

• Degree in Microelectronics / Electrical / Electronics / Chemical / Material Science.
• Min. 1-2 years experiences in wafer fab / semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of multiple dry etch tool types is an advantage.
