Job Description

This role will be based at Tampines.

Perform the following activities in support of pre-approval processing for various credit facilities such as Equipment & Machinery Loans, Business Term Loans, Commercial Property Loans, Trade Facilities etc.

• Verify and review application and other supporting documents per established program guidelines. Documents include but are not limited to financial statements, Credit Bureau and ACRA reports, bank statements etc.
• Validate and edit information in proprietary credit processing system.
• Access and retrieve information from proprietary banking systems
• Communicate with partners from Business, Risk and other Operations units.
• Will be part of a team and report to a team lead
• As assigned by Team Lead to take on additional tasks such as but not limited to: Process Improvements, Automation Projects, Coaching and Mentoring, Business Continuity, Administrative Tasks etc

Qualifications * Degree from a recognized university.

• Candidates with relevant banking operations or credit-related experience will be considered
• Key Knowledge: Credit Concepts, Financial statements, Debt-Income and Debt-Servicing Ratios
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skill. Comfortable with numbers and computations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and MS Outlook (Email Client). Knowledge of Access too would be a plus.
• Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good time management. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and to work under challenging and demanding circumstances to meet Service expectations.
