Responsible for procurement negotiations for the project and development, implementation of Contracting Strategy and Procurement Plan including the use of appropriate forms of contract and compensation models.
Develop Contracting and Procurement Strategy for the project in conjunction with the Procurement lead/Project manager.
Negotiate, implement, and manage the commercial aspects of Contracts
Provide input the Contracting and Procurement timelines to the overall Project schedule
Manage the competitive bidding, evaluation, and award process as per budget allocation.
Ensure effective communications with the project team so that the total contracting and procurement process meets the Project programme requirements.
Ensure material spend is tracked and within budget (joint with Procurement lead, Project Controller, Project Manager and, where appropriate, the Contractor)
Ensure all commercial activities are carried out in an ethical manner
Manage new vendor registration in the system including compliance checks and other requirements as per process.
