About Our Client
The client is one of the largest facilities management organisation globally.As a Procurement Category Manager, the role reports to the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain. Responsibilities include:
- Strategic sourcing and management of categories in Singapore.
- Managing contract negotiations, bidding and analysing patterns and trends to increase business\'s optimisation.
- Responsible for procurement of the organisation\'s technical services (soft and hard) procurement.
- Manage key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure cost-savings and optimisation within the category assigned.
- Establish KPIs and oversee supplier performance evaluations to maintain and sustain quality and service standards.
- Work closely with the global procurement team and group category management to ensure business objectives are met.
The Successful Applicant
- Individuals with a degree in business or any related discipline is a plus.
- More than 5 years of experience in Procurement Management in a huge organisation is a plus.
- Experience in handling end to end procurement processes is highly advantageous.
- Experience in any procurement software, purchasing of technical services or facilities procurement is a plus.
- Good negotiation skills and a driven individual is highly advantageous.
- Individuals with strong strategic acumen is a plus.
