Job Description

We are partnering with a leading organisation to appoint a Procurement Director. This is a senior leadership role where you will be responsible for shaping and executing the organisation's procurement strategy to deliver long-term value. The role goes beyond cost management, requiring a strong focus on innovation, supplier collaboration, and sustainability, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks.

As Procurement Director, you will oversee strategic sourcing, category management, and complex tender processes across multiple spend areas. You will play a key role in driving procurement transformation initiatives, including digitalisation, automation, and the adoption of best-in-class practices.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee strategic sourcing, category management, and tender processes. Develop and implement a long-term procurement roadmap. Drive procurement transformation initiatives, including digital platforms and process automation. Conduct spend analysis, monitor market trends, and identify supplier innovations. Lead end-to-end tender processes for high-value and complex procurements. Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement professionals. Deliver procurement training and awareness sessions across the organisation. Present procurement updates, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree. Minimum 20 years of procurement experience, including at least 10 years in a management role. Proven track record of leading teams, negotiating high-value contracts, and influencing senior stakeholders.
