- Position Title: Procurement Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 5 days/ Procurement Executive - 5 days
- Working Location: Woodlands
- Working Hours: 5 days, Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday (9 am \xe2\x80\x93 6 pm)
- Salary Package: Up to $3200 + $100 Transport Allowances + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent Role
- Management of Asian suppliers across commodities.
- Sourcing of suppliers, pre-selection and negotiation in accordance with SG & HQ procurement strategies.
- Planning and execution of supplier audit in alignment with global audit plans and processes.
- Cost improvement projects with suppliers and continuous improvement in material availability and quality.
- Disposition of rejection based on functionality.
- Manage incoming goods quality inspections and escalation to suppliers on quality issues.
- Product Change Notification (PCN) and new transfer coordination.
- Coordinate material requirement planning with suppliers (e.g., Forecast update).
- Inventory control based on forecast and consumption (raw material and finished goods safety stock).
- Perform other related duties as assigned by superior.
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Min. 2 years experience in procurement in Asia.
- Experience in using SAP system.
- Some travel within the region is expected to conduct client visits (Office to client\xe2\x80\x99s office).
