-The Opportunity:Adecco is partnering with the client who is a global leader in helping the semiconductor and electronics industries make better, more efficient products. The company creates tools for inspecting and measuring chips during manufacturing. With operations in over 20 countries, our client focuses on innovation to meet the needs of the fast-changing tech world.As a Procurement Engineer, this role Oversees new product sourcing and management, supplier collaboration, cost control, and quality assurance to drive efficient product development, ensuring alignment with commodity strategy, compliance, and lifecycle objectives.

• Work location: Serangoon
• Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm (Hybrid)
• Salary: up to $5,500 + AWS + VB

The Job:

• Drive new product sourcing by conducting research, defining requirements, and developing strategies for efficient product introduction.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Commodity, and NPI teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Facilitate early supplier involvement from design to production, adhering to timelines and target costs.
• Ensure cost, quality, and availability goals are achieved across the product lifecycle.
• Manage supplier onboarding with a focus on integrity, value alignment, and engineering efficiency.
• Lead cost management activities, including negotiation, cost modeling, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Support compliance, sustainability, and quality assurance in new supplier and component releases.

The Talent:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in procurement or capital equipment design is a plus.
• Results-driven and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
