Job Description

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that the specifications and requirements are sufficiently detailed and complete for competitive quotes.
• Reviews and evaluates vendors\' quotations to ensure that the quoted items comply with the technical and commercial specifications of the Company\'s requirements.
• Request for Quotation including issuing Tender Document
• Cost negotiation with Suppliers to achieve the best costs possible for the Company
• Manage the purchasing cycle including the request for quotation, PO creation, PO follow-up, goods/services receipt status, and supplier billing
• Update internal databases with order details (pricing, quality, and reliability)
• Invoice matching

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical) preferred or Science (Physics)
• Minimum 3 years working experience in Manufacturing industry, preferably Petrochemical/Chemical Industry
• Engineer with on-ground working experience in the Petrochemical Industry and without purchasing qualification/experience but a flair for negotiation will be considered
• High-level organizational and record-keeping skills
• Hardworking and Good Team Player
• Ethical and Discipline
