The Opportunity:Adecco is partnering with a local company founded in 2020, to develop strategic measures for healthcare-related projects, aiming to safeguard and enhance local communities through targeted training and preparatory programs, and we are seeking to hire a Procurement Executive to join their business. As a sole contributor reporting to the HR Manager, the successful incumbent will be handling indirect procurement activities, such as managing office pantry supplies, overseeing replenishment processes, and handling the renewal of existing contracts for office maintenance services etc.

• Work location: Central region, near Promenade MRT
• Work hours: Mondays - Fridays, 8:45am - 6pm
• Basic salary up to $5,500 + AWS + Variable Bonuses

The Job:

• Ensure compliance with procurement strategies and policies to meet targets.
• Follow processes and obtain necessary approvals before execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and validate work scopes and requirements.
• Manage delivery timelines and monitor progress.
• Source and evaluate new and existing vendors for cost-effectiveness.
• Assess price competitiveness and negotiate quotations.
• For complex projects, seek management guidance on procurement and negotiations, especially for RFPs.
• Review and prepare service agreements and contracts for management approval, tightening terms as needed.
• Oversee office supplies and equipment inventory.

The Talent:

• Diploma/Degree in any relevant discipline.
• At least 4-5 years of indirect procurement experience in any industry, with familiarity in vendor management processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to do presentations on procurement recommendations.
