Job Description
Our Client, Manufacturing industry, has an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the team as a Procurement Executive.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure new vendors are pre-qualified in accordance to SOP requirement
- Oversee the procurement process arising from Group wide purchase requisition.
- Conduct tenders in accordance to Division and make recommendations to Tender Committee
- Understanding and influencing sourcing project / business requirements.
- Identify opportunities that focus on cost reductions, efficiencies/quality improvements, risk mitigation, industry and supply trends and shifts in technologyefine Procurement / Contracting strategy with business
- Supplier Classification, Relationship Management and contract management
- Proactively work with Stakeholders and assist in or directly manage spend
- Know, understand and stay abreast of industry trends, benchmarks, best practices, etc.
- Monitor Strategic/key Suppliers to provide internal notifications and develop risk mitigation scenarios
- Analyze past and future demand volumes, inventory trends and current inventory levels
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain or equivalent
- Min. 2 years of experience in the same context
- Ability to multitask
- Good team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Words, Excel and Powerpoint.
