Procurement Executive (scrap Management)

Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Scrap Disposal Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of scrap material disposal across all company sites.
- Work in coordination with operations and warehouse teams.
- Ensure environmentally responsible and compliant disposal practices.
Value Recovery:
- Identify and engage with certified scrap buyers and recyclers
- Conduct bid analysis to determine optimal pricing and timing for scrap sales.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize financial returns from scrap.
- Maintain accurate records of scrap transactions
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
- Prepare reports on scrap sales, trends, and value recovery metrics.
- Work closely with operations, finance, and logistics
- Support internal audits
Requirements:
- Preferably Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Process/Marine Offshore/Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or related discipline
- 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Knowledge of scrap material markets and recycling regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experienced in Marine Offshore or Heavy Industries will be an added advantage.

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5.15pm
Friday: 8:00am - 4.30pm
