Our client is seeking a Procurement Lead to drive the EPC contract strategy and execution for cross-border infrastructure projects, manage sourcing and vendor relationships, ensure contract compliance, and collaborate with teams to optimize procurement outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Lead engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract strategy and execution to drive timely, efficient, and risk-smart delivery of cross-border infrastructure.
Oversee the full sourcing lifecycle for goods and services by ensuring that deals align with company policy, delivers value, and supports system reliability.
Craft and implement sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, and risk at every project phase.
Build and sustain strong relationships with strategic vendors by tracking performance, driving collaboration, and troubleshooting issues swiftly.
Lead commercial negotiations with vendors and suppliers by determining terms that protect our interests while maintaining resilient partnerships.
Work in close alignment with technical and commercial team to ensure procurement approach supports project objectives
Monitor and enforce contractual commitments across the project lifecycle to resolve issues early and keep delivery on track.
Maintain detailed records of legal documents and payment terms to ensure full compliance, clarity, and accountability at all project phases.
Develop knowledge and database of suppliers, products, and market intel to effectively elevate sourcing outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
Experience with progressive procurement and managing EPC contracts in the energy industry.
Familiarity with transmission infrastructure, manufacturing and installation processes, and engineering services procurement
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders to collaborate, influence, balance multiple priorities and solve problems
Self-driven, positive and enthusiastic
Enjoy interacting with people and possess good verbal and written skills.
Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience in SAP and/or procurement systems will be advantageous
Fluency in both English and Mandarin (required for effective communications with Mandarin-speaking partners)
