Plan and manage local and international shipments, including import/export, container dispatch, and delivery arrangements.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, hauliers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely movement of goods.
Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, such as invoices, delivery orders, packing lists, and customs forms.
Fetch, compare, and evaluate sea freight rates from multiple carriers and agents to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions.
Track shipments from origin to destination and resolve delays or discrepancies as needed.
Ensure full compliance with import/export regulations and internal SOPs.
Procurement & Sourcing
Source and evaluate suppliers and service providers for materials, products, and logistics services.
Request and compare quotations, ensuring best pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
Negotiate rates, contracts, and delivery schedules with vendors and logistics partners.
Raise and track purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement aligned with project needs.
Maintain an organized database of vendors and sea freight providers.
Inventory & Operational Coordination
Monitor and record incoming and outgoing stock, coordinating closely with warehouse and operations teams.
Input and maintain data in Excel sheets and ERP/logistics systems.
Track and analyze costs, shipment performance, and supplier reliability.
Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements through smart sourcing and planning.
Requirements:
Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
1-2 years of relevant experience in procurement and/or logistics.
Ability to multitask and stay organized.
