Looking for a Procurement Manager to manage all procurement and sourcing activities as well as vendor management for an established provider of environmental services in the far west of Singapore.

With their ever-expanding portfolio in providing services for residential, commercial and institutional customers, they aim to maintain and improve their current performance both locally and regionally of which they are seeking for a Procurement Manager to be based at their HQ in Singapore.

Description

You will be reporting to the Head of Department directly. The majority of your responsibilities will include managing all sourcing and procurement activities as well as vendor management.

Your responsibilities include:

• To provide Procurement programs, policies, and procedures that conform to all applicable regulations and standards, consistent with corporate objectives and internal policies and procedures
• To be responsible for all sourcing and procurement activities and set standard costs for categories and products
• To support all compliance issues regarding procurement and purchase control issues as well as developing compliance solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Evaluation of selected suppliers\' products, quality management systems, setup, capacity, and compliance
• To maintain all scorecards of vendors and constantly update supplier-related data
• To work closely with the product management team in determining technology requirements/capabilities while maintaining ethical commitments
• Continually seeks ways to improve the function\'s processes over the period

Profile

You should have a Degree in Supply Chain or related disciplines and have significant years of related working experience in procurement or supply management. You must possess strong analytical, planning and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and exert strong leadership skills.
