. Responsible for the procurement of major equipment and/or materials for assigned projects. . Ensures that project equipment and materials are purchased within budget, in accordance . Ensures that project equipment and materials are purchased within budget, in accordance with all project specification requirements with required delivery schedules. . Prepares RFQ commercial documents for issuance to bidders and thereafter analyses and coordinate clarifications or revisions to suit to project requirements. . Manage the bid/tender opening process in accordance with company requirements. Reviews the bid/tender proposals and prepares for the bid clarification with vendors. . Technical Evaluation with project team and prepares the commercial bid evaluation to choose the successful vendor. Review all documents submitted and strategize the items identified for negotiation. . Manages the negotiation of the terms and conditions of the procurement in accordance with Company's requirements. . Finalize the commercial evaluation and puts up recommendation for the selected bidder. Issues the purchase order (PO) to selected supplier/vendor in accordance with company policies and procedures. . Continues to follow up with supplier after PO issued with project package team to expedite order and monitor to ensure timely delivery. . Prepares weekly and monthly project procurement reports to assigned project management team and department head to ensure effective communications to all stakeholders Requirements . Degree or Diploma in preferably Engineering/Process/Marine. Offshore/Supply Chain Management. . At least 5 years of relevant working experience. Prior experience in topside equipment buying will be an added advantage. . Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills. . Able to multi-task and able to work in a fastpaced environment.
