Summary:

Plan, schedule and expedite all materials needed to meet production schedules. Monitor suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 performance and establish processes to ensure timely delivery, optimum inventory level, reduced costs and system integrity. Participate in continuous improvement to support company\'s goals and objectives.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule and expedite direct materials needed to support production schedules

Monitor the status of purchase orders with Central Supply Chain and/or Suppliers to ensure timely delivery and communicate status of orders with internal customers

Support material planning group in efforts to meet delivery and inventory turn performance goals

Provide support in material issues related to engineering changes, new product start-up, and Request for Quotation (RFQ) for site.

Responsible for tracking Material Planning & Delivery Assurance metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.

Support in materials planning & replenishment strategies development , supply planning review and Inventory level & risk planning

Develop and ensure standard operational practices, methods and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

EH&S:

Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company

Report all incidents (injuries, illnesses, near misses, spills etc), hazardous conditions, and emergencies to his/her supervisor

Responsible for performing a risk assessment of work activities, taking corrective and preventive actions

Comply with EH&S regulations/policies/programs/rules and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Participate in audits and inspections as and when required

Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility for safety

Ethics & Compliance:

Understand and carry out work performance in compliance with the UTC Code of Ethics, its Supplements and governing policies and the International Trade Policies and Procedures

ACE:

Support the Continuous Improvement programs and ACE activities within the company

Minimum ACE Associate certification under ACP

Quality:

Provide a quality product/service that satisfies our customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and expectations the first time, every time

Emphasize a total quality management process which provides accuracy, and strict compliance with agency regulations and customer requirements, giving the highest degree of confidence; understanding that meeting the requirements of the next employee in the work flow process is just as important as meeting the needs of external customer

Job Requirements:

Degree or Diploma with 3 years relevant experience in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field

Strong Microsoft office skills with good analytical/problem solving abilities

Experience in SAP system

Experience in materials planning and procurement of Direct and Indirect / MRO materials in Aerospace or Manufacturing industry preferred

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop close working relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Ability to manage tight deadlines, highly organize, and prioritize work independently
