Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join the team at COSL Drilling Pan Pacific Ltd, a leading Oil & Gas drilling company in the West Region. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials and services to support the company's operations. This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing
Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers to build a strong, reliable supply chain Negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals for the company Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities and expenditures Collaborating with internal teams to understand and meet their procurement needs Implementing and continuously improving procurement processes and policies Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a procurement in Oil & Gas drilling industry. Strong negotiation and contract management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders Proficient in analysing data and generating reports to support procurement decision-making Familiarity with procurement software and systems Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure * Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
